She completed her undergraduate education at the\nGeorge Washington University, <em>summa cum\nlaude<\/em>, in 2006, and subsequently earned her medical degree at Jefferson\nMedical College in Philadelphia. She received her residency training at Boston\nMedical Center where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr.\nTraband was happy to return to her native Philadelphia to complete her\nfellowship training in vitreo-retinal surgery at the Scheie Eye Institute.\nDuring her training she was involved with clinical research, published\nliterature in peer-reviewed journals, and acquired skills in advanced surgical\ntechniques. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Traband specializes in a wide range of medical\nand surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous including diabetic eye disease,\nmacular degeneration, retinal detachments, hereditary retinal disorders,\ngeneral macular disorders, uveitis, and trauma.
